Misuse — don't do this.

Four ways the mark breaks
Don't · low-contrast
Never place the mark at low contrast. Use the reversed lockup on dark surfaces.
Don't · on gradient
Never place the word-mark directly on the sunset gradient. Use the sunset lockup or add a paper plate.
Don't · skew or slant
Never skew, italicise or distort the mark. Italics belong to Instrument Serif, not Italiana.
Don't · substitute font
Never set the mark in another face. If Italiana can't load, use the SVG lockup.
